As we begin to shed old beliefs and deliberately train our energies, it can feel like an emotional rollercoaster. You might be flying high in the morning but feel like shit before lunch. This is normal, even for those who have been practicing the law of attraction for years. Contrast is normal and necessary; the trick is to not only learn how to get back into the vortex quickly, but how to stay in it for longer. When we don’t love ourselves, we are disconnected. Constantly, we seek approval from others, but it is never received, and if it is, it is not enough. We discount it in one way or another, either by deciding that the person who has given you approval is not worthy of love, either, and so how can they say that we are? Or by twisting it in our minds over and over again, wondering if they were being serious after all, or making fun of us behind our backs. (This is one that I am very familiar with, as I’ve been told I have a sarcastic tone).
